2025 Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition — Built for Serious Adventure
The 2025 Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition is a long-distance adventure motorcycle designed to explore well beyond the pavement. Building on the versatile Norden 901 platform, the Expedition adds touring comfort, enhanced protection and long-travel suspension for riders who want one motorcycle capable of tackling remote backroads, technical trails and extended highway journeys.
Power and Off-Road Control
At its heart is an 889 cc parallel-twin engine producing a broad, usable spread of power. Its compact design helps centralize mass, while modern electronic fuel injection and ride-by-wire throttle control provide responsive performance across changing terrain. The chromium-molybdenum steel frame uses the engine as a stressed element, balancing strength with precise handling.
Fully adjustable WP XPLOR suspension provides 240 mm of travel at both ends, giving the Expedition added capability over rocks, ruts and uneven surfaces. A 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel combination supports confident off-road tracking while retaining composed road manners.
Key Expedition Highlights
Adventure-focused suspension: Long-travel WP XPLOR components can be adjusted to suit terrain, load and riding preference.
Rider assistance systems: Cornering-sensitive traction control and ABS help manage braking and power delivery on varied surfaces.
Explorer riding mode: Expanded adjustability lets experienced riders tailor throttle response and traction control intervention.
Touring comfort: A taller windscreen, heated grips and heated rider seat help reduce fatigue in cool or demanding conditions.
Travel-ready equipment: Soft luggage, a centre stand and additional protection support practical multi-day exploration.
Modern connectivity: The integrated Connectivity Unit supports compatible navigation, phone and audio functions through the motorcycle’s display.
Prepared for Long Routes and Rough Terrain
A low-slung 19-litre fuel tank contributes to balanced weight distribution and useful touring range. The adjustable riding position, comfortable ergonomics and protective bodywork make the Norden 901 Expedition suitable for extended days in the saddle, while its skid plate and robust chassis are designed with off-pavement use in mind.
For experienced adventure riders, long-distance travellers and anyone seeking a capable crossover between touring and trail exploration, the Norden 901 Expedition delivers a thoughtful blend of performance, comfort and real-world versatility.
